BREAKING: Shooting At Elementary School In San Bernardino Leaves Two Dead, Multiple People Wounded

Police have secured the area of a San Bernardino elementary school after two adults were killed and two students injured in an apparent murder-suicide.

The Los Angeles Times reports the shooting happened Monday (April 10) after 10:30 a.m. PST at North Park Elementary School. Students at the school were escorted to Cajon High School for their own safety, as well as a pickup point for panic parents. Out of the four victims, one was a teacher and another adult. “We believe this to be a murder suicide,” San Bernardino Police Chief Jarrod Burguan tweeted. “Happened in a class room. Two students have been transported to the hospital.”

In addition to North Park, Hillside Elementary School and Cajon High School were also placed on lockdown. “It’s a developing situation,” said Eric Sherwin, a Fire Department spokesman told reporters.

Police believe the shooting was a response to a domestic dispute.
