Mary J. Blige has announced her 13th studio album “Strength of a Woman” will be released next month.
Three years after her experimental 2014 LP, “The London Sessions”, the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul is returning to what she does best: heartbroken R&B.
Although, “Strength of a Woman” is not a story of weakness. Much like her Grammy Award-winning album “The Breakthrough”, it’s bound to be a triumphant tale of how she survived hardships – this time being her recent divorce from her husband of 12 years.
The album will feature contributions from Hit-Boy, Jazmine Sullivan and Kanye West, according to Rap-Up.
“Strength of a Woman” will be released on April 28.
