Reunited: Trick Daddy Announces Joint Album With Trina

Trick Daddy plans to use his executive power to regain control over Miami hip-hop with a reckless podcast and a brand new project. Earlier this month, Trick Daddy Dollars revealed the trailer for his upcoming show “Famous & Uncensored” with his co-host Supa Cindy of 99 JAMZ, who was also the muse for Rick Ross’ “Supa Cindy” record on Priorities 5. The 305 legend has episodes ondeck with the likes of Jim Jones, Lil Scrappy, and former NFL player Chad “OchoCinco” Johnson.

Shortly after the announcement, Trick revealed that he has another phase of his grand, master plan for 2017. The Liberty City native recently told Mass Appeal that he has plans to release a joint album with Trina. Trick first introduced Trina to the game nearly two decades ago on his chart-topping hit “Nann N*gga” off his sophomore album.

“Yesterday me and Trina signed a deal for a ‘Trick & Trina’ collabo album. So we bringing the city back,” Trick Daddy tells Mass Appeal. “I just want this Trick & Trina record to be classic. I’m going to turn the Diamond Princess back to the Baddest Bitch.”

Trick aims to bring back his trademark hardcore sound that he ushered into the scene in the late ’90s. Although Trick said it may be out by the end of the year, there’s no definitive release date just yet. After releasing her Dynasty 6 mixtape in December, Trina is still planning to drop her long-awaited sixth solo album this year, which features production by Rico Love and singles like “Damn” featuring Tory Lanez.
