The dress code for the 2017 Met Gala, which was held on May 1, was inspired by designer Rei Kawakubo and Comme des Garçons. Kawakubo implements both silhouettes and avant-garde accessories to create some stunning looks, so the attendees at this year’s event definitely had to bring their A-game.

While many stars opted for a simple look, others brought that wow factor that had social media buzzing. However, it was music superstar Rihanna who stole the show in an origami-like Comme des Garçons dress, a top knot bun, and makeup that incorporated pinks and reds to compliment her dress. She came ready to slay, and we couldn’t get enough of it.

Twitter practically burst into flames with some incredible reactions to the beauty’s ensemble. Check out a few pics of her from the event and some of the best responses to her outfit choice.
