  1. Janet Jackson Announces Worldwide Open Call Auditions for Dancers

If you can dance then Janet Jackson is looking for you, the 51-year-old superstar is holding an open casting call for dancers worldwide.

Janet posted a video to her website telling fans what she was looking for, “This audition is open to everyone, all around the globe! Yes, that’s right, I’m talking to YOU! It doesn’t matter your gender, ethnicity, shape, size, or where you live, this is an equal opportunity. I want to see it all!” she said.

To audition you must follow Janet on all social media, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Then upload a 30-second clip of you dancing to your favorite Janet-inspired choreography along with the hashtag, #DancewithJanet. In-person auditions will be held April 23-25th at Starwest Studios in Burbank, California.

2. Cardi B smashes Taylor Swift’s streaming record on Apple Music

With over 100 million streams worldwide in less than a week, Cardi B. has broken an Apple Music record set previously by Taylor Swift.
Cardi’s album Invasion of Privacy has broken the record for the most-streamed album by a female artist in the first week of release.
By mid-week, Cardi more than doubled Swift’s streams for Reputation.

3. Halle Berry thinks ‘Catwoman’ needs another shot

Based on the success of Black Panther, Halle Berry seems to think Catwoman needs another look.
Berry played Catwoman in a 2004 movie that was not well-received. 
While speaking about on-screen representation at the GLAAD Awards Thursday night, Berry said, “Each story builds on the next. It’s like that old saying goes: behind every Black Panther is a great black Catwoman.”
Berry continued, “You know, I’ve gotten a really bad rap for this role. And I think Catwoman deserves another god d–n chance, don’t you?”
