Gucci Mane & Zaytoven To Capture Atlanta Sound For One Night Only At Red Bull Music Event
As part of the Red Bull Music Academy Festival, Gucci Mane and Zaytoven are taking over a local piano bar in New York City to deliver some throwback tunes this Tuesday (May 16). Piano Nights: Gucci Mane and Zaytoven will only be for one night, but fans around the globe can reportedly tune into a live stream of the must-see show via Red Bull Music & Culture’s YouTube channel.
With Zaytoven’s melodious piano rifts and Guwop’s signature rhyming, this show is bound to be a hit. The two are also frequent collaborators, delivering tracks like “First Day Out Da Feds,” “Icy,” and “Bricks” to fans throughout the years. “Anything that me and Gucci do is never thought out or planned real deeply. We always just go off of what we feeling. it’s sporadic,” Zaytoven said of his work chemistry with his fellow Atlanta native during an interview with Red Bull Radio.
The Piano Nights show is just one event of a long lineup for Red Bull’s New York Festival. As previously announced, the company is also hosting a show at the Guggenheim Museum on May 19, featuring an interdisciplinary performance piece by Solange. The performance, Solange: An Ode To will offer “meditative” art in celebration of the singer’s charting album, A Seat at the Table.
Piano Nights: Gucci Mane and Zaytoven will take place at NYC’s The Box in Lower Manhattan. The live stream will air in its entirety on May 16, at 9 p.m EST here. It will also be available on demand for 30 days following the event.
