Notorious B.I.G.’s “Life After Death” Was Released 23 Years Ago Today


The world was still mourning the murder of Notorious B.I.G. when his second album was released 23 years ago today. Life After Death hit on March 25, 1997. It was just weeks after Biggie was killed on March 9th.

The double album featured classics like Hypnotize, Mo’ Money, Mo Problems. Goin’ Back To Cali, Sky’s The Limit and Ten Crack Commandments.

The album hit number one and became a Diamond seller with over 10 million copies purchased.
