1. Diddy & Steph Curry Drop Out of Running to Own Carolina Panthers
It looks like Diddy and Stephen Curry woke up from their dream of owning a NFL team. Carolina owner, Jerry Richardson put the Panthers up for sale following an investigation on Richardson for workplace harassment.
Both Diddy and Stephen Curry expressed interest in the team and joined with billionaire Michael Rubin to buy it.
The price has now shot up to a record $2.5 billion setting a U.S. franchise record, however the new price increase caused Rubin to drop out of the buying process.
Do you think the asking price for the Panthers is too high? Or not high enough?
2. Jeezy Announces Final Album ‘Thug Motivation 104’
Class is over according to Young Jeezy who announced on Twitter that he will be working on his last album and final installment of “Thug Motivation” with “Thug Motivation 104”
It’s been 13 years since Jeezy dropped Thug Motivation 101 and after eight studio albums and dissolving his partnership with Tequila Avión in January, although he’ll still promote and get paid from the brand through 2020, Jeezy has decided that he’s ready to retire and as he told V Files, “I’d love to have a beach house in St. Thomas and kick my shoes off, get all in the sand. I came from project living!”
Do you think it’s too early for Jeezy to retire? What do you think Jeezy should do next?
3. SZA Claims Next Album Will Be Her Last
It’s sad to report but SZA claims that her next album will be her last. The “Weekend” singer says she doesn’t like the way her life has changed since becoming a star and will share her feelings about it on her sophomore album and then she will retire.
SZA was recently quoted saying, “I’m still miserable. My world got so much smaller so fast. I have so much to write about. I feel like I’m in a cage. I’m making the best album of my life for this next album and I know that…because it’s going to be my last album.”
Do you think SZA is going through a phase or will she really retire after her next album?
